On April 18, the East Gate of Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring was officially opened to welcome guests. The visitor center was open, clean and comfortable, with all service facilities and equipment running smoothly and all service posts in place. Soon after the opening of the geopark in the morning, the east gate of the geoarea ushered in the first batch of visitors that day.
Visitors came in droves, and the geoarea was running in order. After purchasing tickets in an orderly manner, visitors took the sightseeing bus to the core geoarea under the guidance of the staff. During the day, visitors stopped at the Gangyi Agricultural Products International Exhibition and Sales Center and the Cultural and Leisure Area for an in-depth experience and perception of Dunhuang culture. Visitors took pictures, read and shared, bought their favorite Dunhuang books, cultural and creative products, tasted 1900 coffee and enjoyed Dunhuang culture.
The opening of the East Gate will not only ease the crowded conditions of vehicles and tourists at the main entrance of the geoarea during the peak tourist season, but also create more and richer options for tourists to deeply tour the Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring. Along the route from the East Gate to the core geoarea, you can enjoy the scenery of fruit forests, Gobi and sand dunes, desert camels and colorful hot air balloons, and experience a different desert style.
On the first day of the opening of the east gate of the Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring, the operation of the geoarea was in good order. Next, the geoarea will further improve security control, active scheduling, improve operational capacity, strictly grasp the standardized service process and work standards, to provide visitors with more detailed and thoughtful reception and tour services and a good landscape environment, to ensure that visitors travel experience.
