New Moves Are Taken to Protect the Water Level of Crescent Moon-shaped Spring

In the past few days, the management office of Mount Mingsha increases the actual time monitoring for water level in Crescent Moon-shaped Spring, associating with Dunhuang Water Department. A water level monitoring facility has been built on the west bank of the spring and will be put into use on Nov. 5^th. The built monitoring facility adopts Haikang HD-SDI 360°full cover camera for all standing monitoring on the water level. The camera will send all the collected video signals back to the virtual server connected with monitor terminal in Dunhuang Water Department to realize the real-time remote monitoring on the water level change of Crescent Moon-shaped Spring, offering scientific foundation to protect the water level. The monitoring data indicate that the current water level of Crescent Moon-shaped Spring remains around 1.5m.
