Bedding plane structure refers to a variety of features preserved on the plane of sedimentary rocks (on the top or bottom). The bedding plane structure in the park is mainly ripple structure developed in the plane of the Yardang body.
Ripple mainly develops in the sandy and silty sediments (Figure 4-21) in the Yardang body of the Yardang scenic spot, on the plane of which exposed ripple can be seen. It is small symmetric straight ridge ripple, formed in the turbulent water lake environment.
