Dunhuang UNESCO Global Geopark has signed a long-term scientific research cooperation agreement with Dunhuang Gobi Desert Ecology and Environment Research Station of Cold and Arid Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Lanzhou University, Northwest Normal University, Lanzhou University of Science and Technology, and established long-term contact and cooperation mechanism with Fangshan, Yanqing, Taishan, Dali Cangshan, Kunlun Mountain, Alxa Mountain and other geoparks, which provide technical support and communication platform for the development and protection of geopark.
