Dali Mount Cangshan UNESCO Global Geopark visit Dunhuang

June 24, Dali Mount Cangshan UNESCO Global Geopark came to Dunhuang, a two-day investigation and exchange. The delegation had a field trip to Dunhuang UNESCO Global Geopark Mogao Grottoes, Yardang Geoarea, Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring and other major area, to understand the practices and experience of Dunhuang UNESCO  Global Geopark in the declaration, protection, development, science and popularization.

The members of the delegation spoke highly of the construction work of Dunhuang UNESCO Global Geopark, and believed that Dunhuang UNESCO Global  Geopark, especially the Yardang geoarea as the main geosites, can build the geopark in a standardized and orderly manner under the poor natural environment and ecological conditions, which is really admirable and worthy of their study.

The two geoparks once again signed an agreement to conclude a sister geopark, and both sides will further carry out cross-learning and seek in-depth cooperation to better carry out the geopark by focusing on the latest requirements of the Guide Requirements for the Construction of the UNESCO Global Geopark.
