The wild camel belongs to the order large artiodactyla. The creature boasts a robust physique, with a diminutive cranium, abbreviated ears, dual humps, a brief tail, svelte appendages, and ample, stout volar pads on its paw soles. It feeds on various desert plants, spiny trees and thickets, and halophytes. It also eats bones, meat, canvas, and shoes when food is scarce. The wild camel is a first-class protected wild animal at the national level and is also identified as an endangered animal under state protection.
